On Thursday, Dec. 19, First Avenue National Bank in Ocala will present the locally known and nationally acclaimed vocal group ” The Edge Effect ” for a Christmas concert and “Stuff the Sleigh” gift drive to benefit three local charities serving children – The Boys and Girls Clubs of Marion County, Florida, Kid’s Central and Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection.
There will be two concerts on December 19 at the Marion Theatre. The first will be at 6:30pm and the final performance will be at 9pm. Admission will be $10 and a new, unwrapped toy provided. “Gifts will be collected outside the theater on Magnolia Avenue. Having The Edge Effect in town for this concert is quite a treat for Ocala. With all the other great events planned downtown for the evening of Dec. 19, we hope to have a great response to the gift drive,” says Lombardo. “Ocala is a caring community and we are excited to see its generous spirit in action.”
