The team of managers led by Mr. Martinez meets regularly to study ways to improve customer service at local FedEx stations. “We have a meeting once a month throughout the state and we usually try to incorporate a community service event as part of our meeting,” said Byron Martinez, a Senior Manager at FedEx in Miami. His team has served Boys & Girls Clubs in Tampa, Orlando as well as North Carolina.

“We we appreciate the Club letting us come over,” Mr. Martinez said. “It brings us back to reality. We are blessed and fortunate to have a job, and to have the opportunity to help and give back.”

Admission for the dance and show only is $25. Half day workshops and full day workshops are included at $45 and $55. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs and are tax-deductible. Dancing with the Doctors is in its fourth year since inception. The collective efforts of the Ocala medical community and the Dance enthusiasts have raised much needed funds for the Munroe Foundation, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA and The Drayton Florence Foundation over the past years. This year, our efforts will be channeled to benefit The Boys and Girls Club and the youth enrichment programs administered through the Ocala Police Department. DWTD upholds the passion of the artists in the medical community integrating the poetry of the feet to the devotion in their hearts to come together for a greater cause. They dedicate their time, efforts and have put their hearts into this venture.
